None of the commands are working.
Desired Workflow
I just started using SoundFlower. Just now. And as soon as I try and test out "Run Command" I receive an error notification in ProTools. Besides the Privacy on my computer and ProTools Midi setup, is there anything else I should be doing?

Hi Marcelino
I can see you tried with some AudioSuite commands. Please check in Pro Tools Preferences that you've set your AudioSuite plugins up to be shown by Category & Manufacturer.

Another note I want to add is – many of the Pro Tools commands are better tested if you add a keyboard trigger to them.
Some of them expect that Pro Tools is already in focus when you run the commands. So while you can try with Run Command, it's even better to assign a shortcut and run it through that.We highly recommend watching the Learning SoundFlow tutorials here:

Thank you for the quick response Christian!
I adjusted the Plug-In Menu by "Category & Manufacturer." I'll check out this today.
But now, I'm having issues even logging into SoundFlow. When I click on the icon, up at the top, right corner, and open SoundFlow, I can't log in. The app isn't allowing me to type in my login credentials. I had this same issue yesterday, so I re-installed SoundFlow and it worked. Is there a bug with the latest SoundFlow install?
I'm running OSX 10.15.6 with Pro Tools 2020.5.0. Should I be runningPro Tools Ultimate?
Thanks for your help!
Best,

Hi Marcelino,
Can you elaborate on this:
The app isn't allowing me to type in my login credentials
What exactly happens?
- MMarcelino Villalpando @Marcelino_Villalpand
Uploaded a screenshot of what happens when I open Soundflow. Once I get here, I'm not able to type in my login credentials into the box. When I click there, nothing happens.
Thank you. Let me know if you need any other info regarding this issue.

Hi Marcelino,
How do you open SoundFlow?
You should log in via the SoundFlow icon in the top-right corner of your screen. Please see more here:
- MMarcelino Villalpando @Marcelino_Villalpand
Hi Christian,
I do open via the icon, but then the login in screen is frozen and I can't proceed further. I'm not able to type anything into the blank box. I will note, that the only different step I did compared to the youtube video is that I created my account using Gmail. Would that be the issue? Is there a bug between SoundFlow and Gmail?
If so, is it possible to reset my subscription so I can re-sign up using your suggested method?
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Hi Marcelino,
Yes, we can migrate your account to a new email address, if we need to. Is there any chance you can send me a short screen recording of the issue though? We have many people using Google to sign in every day, so it would be weird if that only fails on your computer. It would be best for us to try to fix the bug.

Hi Christian,
Here's a link to the screen capture showing what I've been experiencing - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lmi3yIrIqT6M_MJcD5T7Yd9TbelQU_bJ/view?usp=sharing
I hope this helps. If you think migrating my email would help, I'm open to that too.
Best,
Marcelino

Hi Marcelino,
Thank you for your screen recording.
Your screen recording indicates that you're offline when trying to sign in. This is not supported. You need to be online to sign in to SoundFlow.- MMarcelino Villalpando @Marcelino_Villalpand
What does that mean? My internet is working just fine. I'm able to use everything else that requires internet perfectly. How do I get SoundFlow to be online? I promise you...this isn't strictly an internet issue.
Please advise. Thanks!
- MMarcelino Villalpando @Marcelino_Villalpand
All good. All I had to do was quit out and re sign in now everything seems to work!
Thank you for your help Christian!

Thanks Marcelino
If you're on a laptop we have seen an issue where if the Wifi takes a slightly bit longer to be ready on startup, then SoundFlow sometimes will need a restart to detect it. That seems to have been the issue here.- RRICKY PRICE @RICKY_PRICE
Hi Christian, I have the same issue that Marcelino had. When I click on the Soundflow icon it says "Offline". When I open soundflow and try to click on the "log in or create user button" it doesn't open to a login page. My internet works fine otherwise.

Hi Ricky,
Have you tried quitting SF and launching it again from Applications? To quit it, click the SF icon up by the clock, then choose Quit.
- RRICKY PRICE @RICKY_PRICE
Yes, I have quit and relaunched. I've even downloaded the latest version 4.3.1 and reinstalled that. I still am unable to login.
Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-05-26 00:39:23.900Z
Yea that doesn't sound good. Can I get you to report a Help/Issue report for this?
- RRICKY PRICE @RICKY_PRICE
I've entered the information in the help/issue report window. Unfortunately it doesn't look like anything is happening. It is showing a window which says "Gathering & Uploading you feedback. This may take up to a few minutes, please wait". It's now been 20 minutes and nothing has changed. I'm assuming this is because I'm offline and unable to login?
Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-05-26 09:10:12.938Z
Damn, yea that's annoying. Can I get you to make a new thread on the forum? Then I'll send you some more instructions there. Hijacking this existing thread causes a lot of unwanted noise for everybody else who's participating in it.
