SoundFlow Notes Media Uploader
Hellooo,
Amazing new fonction !
But I have a few questions :
- Is it encrypted? Some files are sensibles.
- Is it possible to put a password on it?
- what's the audio quality/bandwidth ?
(I checked th iogates site, it seems to be secured but just double check)
Thank you!!

Hi Benjamin,
I'm Tobias from ioGates. With the free ioGates bundled with SoundFlow, you get the basic security: Files are transferred using HTTPS (encrypted in transport) and each share URL is unique and non-guessable. If you upgrade to our standard plan you get the ability to add passwords on shares and/or use our Two Factor protection using SMS text codes. Optionally you can add on DRM encryption which protects your video stream from being downloaded (if you share without file download).
Along with the security features, you also get more storage and more features, such as uploading on shares. You can find info on the standard account here: https://iogates.com/home/features/integrations/soundflow-integration/
Regarding our security also check out these links:
Share security - https://iogates.com/home/features/security/
IT Security - https://iogates.com/home/features/it-security/We work with many film productions which among other things chooses us for our security features.
For the audio quality. The SoundFlow ioGates accounts are using MP3 320kbps for audio files. Video files are streamed in 720p 1,5mbps H.264 with 256kbps AAC audio.
Let me if you have any other questions.

Thanks for adding the info, Tobias!
Benjamin – also worth noting is that "master download" is enabled by default on SoundFlow-shared links, meaning the end-user can choose to download the file in original quality.

and Thank You for the tips Christian!

Hi
Love the idea about the whole thing and great that it's integrated into SoundFlow!
Though, I couldn't find any info on how to delete videofiles once they are obsolete. I read that they are automatically deleted after 14 days, but is there a way to manually delete files?Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2020-12-02 16:02:56.959Z
Hi Patrick.
Yes, you can log in to the ioGates account and manually delete them there.
@Tobias_Steinmann may be able to help guide you visually. To log in to your ioGates account, either run the command with that name from the Notes package, or click the ioGates logo in the Media Uploader when it's open.

What @chrscheuer said :)
We have a support page explaining the file management in the backend interface: https://help.iogates.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001397017-Move-copy-and-delete-files-in-the-library
Note that when a file is deleted it is moved to the Trash Bin where it will reside 1 day (configurable) before being permanently deleted. You can also manually empty the trash via the Preferences menu.
