System Finder Deck / Wavelab - Soundflow Integration

    Hello,

As a fresh user of both Streamdeck and Soundflow I am at a halt and I can't seem to move on. So I am hoping you can be so kind and help me out in my many questions that have arisen since starting to use these 2 tools.

First of all, I would like to be able to have different decks for different application purposes. For example I would like to have a deck with my usual apps that I use on my Mac, and just simly access them, like open and close app with the touch of one button on the streamdeck. I was able to do so in Streamdeck by creating Multiple Action Switch. In Soundflow, by following a tutorial I am able to open an app, but not close.

So a deck from where I can control the main finder applications like open, close, restart system, is quite essential to me.

Further more I would like to use Wavelab with Soundflow. I have my workflow there pretty set up and I would like to create a deck with actions that I usually perform on a day to day basis when mastering. But I am stuck at the point that I don't even know how to select Wavelab as an application, little less to make it perform triggers. Is that even possible to do with Soundflow?

Another question that came up while trying to figure out this new app, was related to how am I able to switch between decks?

Say I have downloaded the Dialogue RX package, and I have it as my current desk. If I want to access another deck that is specific to the Finder System deck, how do i do that? How can I toggle between different decks?

I hope someone can guide me thru this process as I am really having a hard time getting along with the Soundflow app. I will dive into watching all the tutorials from Soundflow now and maybe something will stick..

    1. I think once you've watched the tutorials, you'll be able answer most of these questions. For example, If you want to switch from an RX deck to a Finder Deck you can either assign a keyboard trigger to them or assign application triggers - one that will open the Finder deck whenever the Finder is the active/front-most application and another to open the RX deck when RX is open.

SF is really quite flexible in this regard.

Watch a few videos and then ask some more questions here if you are still having any trouble.
