Automating Strip Silence
Unless I'm totally missing something, when using the "Strip Silence" command in Pro Tools, it makes the edits based on the cumulative analysis of ALL the tracks in the selection, which often leaves clips of silence where they don't need to be. In the screenshot below, I'm editing a few string tracks, where Strip Silence is leaving clips on Violin 1C and 1D based on audio being present on the Violin 2A and 2B tracks.

Because of this, I've always just used Strip Silence on each track individually, which can be a little tedious on larger sessions. I'm hoping to automate this using Soundflow.
What is the most elegant way to write a script that will process each selected track individually? I've been testing using simulated key presses for the keyboard shortcuts to move between tracks but figured there's probably a better way.
Thanks!

Check out this post which shows you how to do things to each selected track.
