Plugin Presets

    Hi, i'm having a issues in Pro Tools getting a plugin to open, render and close.
    I'm almost there. I've got the file directory working and the plugin opening, it's just not rendering the file.
    If i wanted Pro Tools to open 'Normalize' render the file to 100% then close, what would the execution be?

      Hi @Adam_Burgess

      Have you tried using the "Process Audio Plugin" Macro Actions? Setting it up like this should work.

          Thanks for the reply.
          It's the preset menu path i can't get to work.
          Please could you show an example of how to fill that out.
          Maybe something like a phone eq preset on the EQ3 7 Band?

            Hi @Adam_Burgess

            To get a preset like that working. Enter the path to the prese in to the "Preset Menu Path" property (be sure to press return after each path level).

                        Hi @Davide_Docente,

                        Sorry for the delay... It looks like you are using a different Macro Action than the one used in the post above...

                        In this post, I used the "Process AudioSuite Plugin" Macro however it seems you are using an action named "Open Render and close AudioSuite Plugin". Is this by chance a command from an installed package from the SoundFlow Store?

                        Have you tried using the "Process AudioSuite Plugin" Macro action?

                                        Thanks for reaching out, can you provide some more context of what you are trying to do?

                                        Are you trying to make a preset of the "Open, Render, and Close AudioSuite Plugin" command for Fab Filter Pro Q-2?

                                            Preset menu path for fab filter plugin could not be selected with the above macro.. but for instance. D-verb pre sets get selected and rendered.

                                              Hi @Sruthin_J

                                              Are you by chance trying to load presets from within the Fabfilter plugin GUI, or from the AudioSuite Preset popup menu?

                                              As the "Open, Render, and Close AudioSuite Plugin" command can only select presets saved from within Pro Tools via the AudioSuite plugin menu.
