Button changes icon depending on status

It would be amazing if certain buttons would be able to indicate the status of the underlying function by showing different icons.
For example: If one would press the button for 'preview' in Pro Tools, the button on Stream Deck would change to the highlighted green 'preview' icon. When pressed again it should then switch back to non highlighted grey button.
