Hey Vlado, you can use "click ui element" command on the left bypass button on the blue inserts plugin.
Slot 2 has to be loaded with a plugig for SF to recognize the first plugin as Plugin #1. if slot two is not loaded your command will actually bypass the last one in the chain. Which is also cool too.
Do this in the main window "information sidebar" since main window channel and Stereo Out are pretty much present all the time. Stereo slot bypass will also work on AUX's also since they are in the same location.
if you have 6 slots you should end up with 12 commands, 6 for channels, 6 for stereo out. If you do use the bypass last plugin in chain you have 2 more.
I tried exactly what you are asking and had too many buttons so I changed to the power button in the plugin window simply for deck icon size and not having a million buttons. Thats my personal preference. I found a way that kills two birds with 1 stone though.
You can program it to open plugins on slots instead of bypass them, then have 1 plugin bypass command ready. You would only need one becuase this works on all plugins. You dont have to program say 12 bypasses to use 6 plugins on your channels and stereo outs.
Just click the middle of the loaded plug in slot like you were opening the plugin with the mouse. Use Click UI Element command on the left blue power button inside the open plugin window. Same applies to having slot 2 loaded to recongize slot 1. if you want SF to see plugin 10 you have to have plugin 9 loaded will programming. After you can have a plugin on 1,2,4,6 and the missing slots will not throw and error. 3,5,7 etc may actually open up the plugin menu if blank.
Hope this helps. If you need a script let me know.
