Close Window Macro

I would love to see an ACTION added that does the equivalent of clicking on the red dot in the active and open window (in Mac OS) to close that window. This would be valuable in many applications without resorting to UI commands or floating window commands.

    1. Hi Mark,

We have a "Close Window" action for this purpose :)

For the UI Element, make sure to select the whole window (by clicking in the title bar, important: next to the actual title, not on it)

Thanks Christian. Is there a way to make a more generic version of this that simply looks for the RED dot in the active or front window? Otherwise I have to write Close Window Macros for everything.

Yeah, this Macro won't work. I'm looking for a 'generic' Macro that clicks on the red dot in every finder window on every Mac computer in the world. This would be a universally usefull tool for any application and is application agnostic, it just clicks the red dot of the front or forward window.
