update : it's working if i connect both machine to my phone hotspot so it looks like a network issues... i tried to reboot my internet box but no luck...any advice on how to trouble shhot would be realy helpful..

        1. Hi Lucas,

It's likely some configuration in your router. I haven't found a good way to troubleshoot these things yet - unfortunately there are literally hundreds of different router makes/models and the endless number of possible configurations makes it very hard to provide any sort of concrete guidance for.

SoundFlow uses the built-in Bonjour / zeroconfig multicast DNS services found in iOS and Android to discover devices on the network. Make sure that the devices connect to the same subnets (that the router doesn't provide address isolation) and that the router hasn't been configured with some internal firewall or other advanced features that may block the traffic.

Reseting to factory defaults my internet provider box/ router did the trick...the real reason of all this will stay a mystery for now since i didn't change any network settings...

Anyway, if i can be soundflowing again i 'm happy!

              1. That's awesome! Maybe they did an automated software update that changed some things - that wouldn't be the first time I've heard of such a thing ;)

For all those like me , that have still trouble getting SF working as expected on an Android tablet ( lost connection, no connection at all or very slow deck or dashboard loading...) My onlywork around was to reset my internet provider box to default ( wich takes 15 min) every 3 days . i was so frustated i was thinking going Ipad or real streamdeck.. but in found a not perfect , but working solution!

                  https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B08N9WSXRT?ref_=pe_27091421_487358211_302_E_DDE_dt_1

not perfect cause it's 16€ (still a 1/10 of a stream deck..), it needs a cable and your tablet won't charge while you work....but! what a joy to see decks loading at lightspeed! ( i was sometime waiting 5 sec for decks to load wich is forever for something that's suppose to make you go faster..)

                  1. Thank you so much for sharing, Lucas!

Hey Lucas, thanks for suggesting this, it seems to have really helped my setup. Just wanted to add that you can get ethernet - USB C adaptors that support power pass through...meaning you can be plugged into your router via ethernet, and also have a USB C cable going to a charger that will power the tablet at the same time. Just added one here and it's working great.
