    SoundFlow 4.3.5

    OS: darwin 18.7.0

    ProductName: Mac OS X
    ProductVersion: 10.14.6
    BuildVersion: 18G103

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. using my ipad that used to work,,no commands work

    Expected Result

    make groups etc,,,,anything

    Actual Result

    nothing on the ipad,,,,when i try using souldflow app from open surface on the mac,,thats when is says,,
    SOMETHING WENT WRONG,,,command not found : user:ckftzr9i8000bll10xd57vbw3:ckf4cv3ei000oy410dgixx1tu#ckfzngztk0004zl10fjwnx6hl (this could be becuse of command had a complication error)

      Hi Christian,

      Thanks for providing some more info. Can you elaborate on the steps you are taking on your Mac when this happens?
      You click "Open Surface" - which surface did you select when clicking Open Surface? Where are you seeing the error message? The more information you provide the faster and more accurately we can help you.

        Wrt the "command not found" error - this indicates that you have recently had a macro or some other reference to a package that you have since uninstalled.

              Hi Christian. I'm not sure I understand. Triggers is something you use to tell SoundFlow when to run a specific command. You can learn more about triggers here:

                What I said before is that it looks like you have uninstalled a package that you were using in your surfaces or decks. If you uninstall a package that you were using, then any deck buttons or surface buttons that were referring to that package would now stop working, giving you the exact experience you're describing.

                    hey there,,so i checked the surface and all the commands are gone from the surface,,i have the visual buttons which i created but not commands,,i use to use the surface and then that stopped working,so id use the surface inside the soundflow app,,now that doesn't do anything either,,i would have duplicated a create group command and relabelled it etc,,i think andrew schepps package only came with 4,,so i created perc,synths,bvs etc,,,there gone from my lists,,i cant understand how this has happened,,could it have happened with an update?

                      Hi Christian,

                      As I mentioned, your surface refers to commands that are in a package you have since uninstalled. At least that's how it looks like from here.

                      We haven't updated SoundFlow in a long time so that's unlikely to be the source of why this has happened, if you can't remember to have uninstalled any package yourself.

                      If you can remember the last time this all worked, we can restore your entire user settings (all commands, scripts, macros, decks, packages, etc.) to a day in the past. Our system takes complete backups of all your settings every approx. 24 hours.

                          oh wow,,i was hoping that something like that was possible,,,if i went back two months itd defo have all the packages and settings,,i did some back tracking lastnight but could duplicate some commands like the schepps colors,,,i managed to dup the Add To Groups alright,,,they ended up in my user presets,,,then i could change them to how it suited my temp again..
                          so long story short,,,can we go back lets say 6 weeks please?

                              I can restore your account from something like July 26? I think that should be approx 6 weeks back. Please note that this will overwrite your entire account with whatever was stored in it back then. Can you confirm you want me to do that?

                                    Exactly. Anything you made after July 26 will be overwritten though.

                                            thx for reverting guys,,i see the packages on the ipad now,,i was aware that that would happen,,thx again.
                                            however i still dont seem to have had the surface i designed reverted back to the same date yet,,,for example,,i created a color set of commands for drums through lead vocals etc and the commands for those are not there.
                                            is there a way of reverting back to a snapshoot of my surface from the same period?

                                                  also,,i can use the surface in the app to run the the commands but the ipad surface is not working yet?
                                                  what am i missing,,i did recreate the commands on the soundflow app for sessions i currently doing

                                                                          Yes, I've reverted it back to the backup I took before reverting to the August 14 backup.

                                                                          It sounds to me like you may have to bite the bullet and recreate those things from scratch then.
