Hello all,
I'm setting up some menu commands within Logic Pro and have come across a peculiar issue.
The example is a Bounce shortcut. Here's my macro:

It doesn't work; an error tells me it can't be found within Logic.
Blake Mohler kindly uploaded a package with some Logic shortcuts here:
https://soundflow.org/store/logic-pro-x-production
Using his Bounce macro works. Here's his macro:

You'll notice the ellipses are ever so slightly more spaced out! Copying the two macros as script into Notes gives me the same result:

If I copy the 'narrower' ellipses, all my menu macros work. If I simply type in ..., they don't work. I've tried typing them in with a space each (. . .) and that's no it either.
Any clue as to what's causing this, and if I can make sure my ellipses are correct? I'm lucky enough to have Blake's for my clipboard but it's a bit tedious to keep copy/pasting them.
Thanks as always!
Julian

Hi Julian
You need the special ellipsis character (it's a single character). You can copy/paste it from here:

I use Option+X to type it on a Danish keyboard. I don't remember what the shortcut is on US-based keyboard layouts

Hello Julian,
For this annoying menus I made a script to write the menu names on macros and it will leave the menu array in the clipboard so you can paste it on your script as well.
Search the store for "Pick Path from Menu & Popup Menu" and there are video instructions.
Hope it helps

Also the Mac US keyboard combination to type an ellipsis is Option ;
