Soundflow never logs in at startup
Soundflow never logs in at startup
System Information
SoundFlow 4.3.5
OS: darwin 20.6.0
ProductName: macOS
ProductVersion: 11.5.2
BuildVersion: 20G95
Steps to Reproduce
I recently got a new computer that uses Big Sur on a Mac Mini M1 model.
Ever since getting the new computer, I've realized that Soundflow doesn't seem to log in properly on startup. Instead, I get the red icon in my top menu bar.
The only solution I can find is quitting Soundflow and then reopening it.
Expected Result
It should log me in and connect properly automatically
Actual Result
I get the red icon and have to restart Soundflow
Workaround
Quitting SF and then restarting it

Hi Mike,
Thank you for reporting this.
We are aware of an issue with PACE's drivers that start very slowly on M1 Macs. PACE have instructed us to have SoundFlow wait for PACE's drivers to start up - which would fix this issue.
We will hopefully have a fix for this included in the next version of SF :)

Hi Christian,
Was this fixed?
Because I am having the same issue on an M1Ultra Studio under Mac OS 13.3.1 with Soundflow v5.4.1.I have to quit out of Soundflow and go back in every day on boot.
Which means that MOMDeck doesn't start which means that Dadman gets stuck as it is starting up (even though I use Delay Start to wait 120 seconds before launching Dadman).Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2023-06-07 09:34:21.400Z
Hi James,
Yes, this was fixed in the sense that SoundFlow waits for PACE's drivers to start up. That being said, on some machines PACE drivers sometimes take a very, very long time to start.
If you're seeing issues, please open a new report so we have updated log files.James Richmond @James_Richmond
OK I will.
