Hello all-I recently purchased a midi contoller device which I hoped to use with virual string libraries. I found out later that this device "sparrow" isn't directly compatible with Protools and the designer suggested Soundflow as sort of a work around. At this pointg after trying to follow the instructions that were provided which were very complex and I couldn't intiate all of them ,my convos with christian suggested that I was trying to set up HUI in protools (which the directions I was provided suggested) and a more direct method was a available which at this juncture I 'm not sure where to find. I am a novice interms of using specific midi controler devices other then a keyboard but I am very experienced in using Protools and many large virtual libraries over a 20 year period and have written several albums. At this point I am ready to give up so any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated -thanks Bruce

    1. Hi Bruce,

Thanks for taking the question here.

For anybody else, this is the article Bruce is trying to follow:
      https://help.soundflow.org/en/articles/5638021-how-to-control-pro-tools-faders-from-any-midi-device

Please let me know at exactly what point and which step isn't making sense to you and we can try to help.

I didn't mean to say that there are easier ways to achieve this / a more direct way. I mentioned that setting this up before watching our video tutorials and getting acqainted with how SoundFlow basics work is not something I would recommend.
