Question/Feature Request: Deck Icon Toggle?

Hey everyone so I'm getting mad geeked about just how much can be achieved using soundflow - in my case even more so when i pair it up with a Stream Deck. The ability to have folders full of scripts available at my fingertips is indeed quite powerful. However, I can't help but think that for my taste I could use a little bit of visual feedback - so, I'm wondering... has anyone managed to come up with a script that replaces a button's icon based on a say, a globalState variable or something of the like?

I could see this being very useful if say you're triggering things on and off often and perhaps some of the things you trigger are system events which the only way to check would be by bringing up their appropriate menus and confirming there. I guess what I'm aiming for ideally would be the ability to have a deck launch a script when it is pulled up, then to have said script check and validate variables for their state (on/off or whatever), and finally update the button index to display the variables' currently active state.

A few examples that come to mind really quickly are the following:

    • Toggle Button to turn wi-fi on/off (displays icon "wifi_on.png" if on or "icon wifi_off.png" if off)
    • Apple Homekit Integration, checks if x device on/off and displays accordingly.
    • Upload % (Say you're uploading something, if you can read the value from the % UI Element and display that on a button, that'd be pretty damn tight)

I guess all in all, I'd just really like to see a higher degree of interactivity with control surfaces - If anyone's got something like that up their sleeve please let me know!!!

As always, thanks for listening and lending me some of your time!
    Kindest, Eric.

      Hi @Eric_Huergo,

Thanks for asking. Currently the creation of Dynamic Decks and Surfaces is reserved for handpicked Developers who have gone through our internal training program. If you're interested in joining the developer program yourself and you have sufficient knowledge of javascript and regular SF scripting, please contact us on support@soundflow.org to get on the list of potential candidates. :-)

      Rock on!

On a side note @Eric_Huergo, be sure to post any Ideas/Suggestions in the "Ideas" section of the forum so se can track/consider them for future versions of SoundFlow. :-)

Apparently this is doable in the Stream Deck App. Is there anyway of integrating these two?
