Streamdeck never going to screensaver when computer is asleep
Hi, When I put my computer to sleep, the streamdeck is still displaying the last currently used deck from soundflow. It will stay this way all night.
I want to avoid screen burn in (if that even exists on a streamdeck) and allow the streamdeck to go to sleep when the computer does.
Does anyone know how to achieve this? I could only find brightness control in the streamdeck preferences in soundflow.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

I use a script that switches to a blank deck and then shuts down or sleeps my mac.

That's a great idea. Would you be willing to publish it or share the script in reply? I'm not a person skilled in javascript. Thank you Kindly.

You can easily do this with in the Macro Editor:
The first Action - Run Command - activates the blank deck and the second puts the Mac to sleep.
To get the command id for the blank deck, navigate to the blank deck in the SF editor then from the SF application menu click Command > Copy Command ID and then paste that command ID into the Run Command macro action.- MMatt Bauer @Matt_Bauer
Thank you Chris :-)

Hi @Matt_Bauer,
Are you still seeing this issue? I was just testing some Stream Deck sleep behavior, and found that in my tests, the Stream Deck goes entirely black when my computer sleeps.
Not sure if this is because we've changed things since you saw this, or because this may act differently depending on whether the Stream Deck is connected through a powered hub or not.

Closing for inactivity and recent related bug fixes hopefully covers this.
