Fader Sending Pitch Bend Default to 64 (No Pitch Bend)

I have a fader successfully sending pitch bend to my sampler. Is there a way to get this to behave like a pitch wheel, so it defaults to 64 and, ideally, returns to 64 after the fader stops (it would be amazing to be able to set latch/touch behavior and the amount of time for it to return to null, but that might be ambitious and for a future app!)
For now I'd be happy just to have a way to quickly reset to 64, if possible.

Sorry, wasn’t clear, I was hoping to get a fader on a SF surface to do this.
