Can't change scenes in OBS
Hi there!
Been getting acclimated in Soundflow and Streamdeck XL - still a total newb - and running into a real roadblock w the OBS application.
I created a deck and added things like record/pause/stop .. all that works well (tho i wish there were a default Deck included so I didn't have to create one... but i suppose i need the practice).
I just can't seem to get the scenes to change. I disabled WebSocket authentication, and am trying to rename Soundflow's defualt name: "scene" with my custom scene names, assuming that's the issue, but nothing seems to work. Meanwhile, my previous method of scene changing (via Midi) has stopped working since I installed the WebSocket.
I so appreciate and welcome any tips, thanks!!

Hi @Dana_Nielsen,
Can you share some screenshots of your presets in SF and of the scene names in OBS?
Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-12-16 01:17:07.702Z
The crucial part is setting the scene name in your preset's editor in the right hand side of the screen, like so:
Here I'm switching to the scene named "Screen":
If you're just renaming the preset in the command list, that won't be enough.

Hi Christian, thanks so much for your quick response!
Yes, I have switched the scene name in the preset but always get an error when I try to run the preset I get a SoundFlow error about "Command 'package:ck8ue......' not found (OBS: Scene: Set Current: Line 2."
I would take a screenshot of the error, but another odd thing I'm encountering (new since soundflow) is my screenshot key-commands sometimes get really, really bogged down and hung up .. does this sound related to u at all? ha. For example, if I click on my mac command-shift-4 to take a screenshot selection of the error I'm getting, the little plus-sign for screenshot wont show up till about 1 minute later.

Hi Dana,
The screenshot error is not something I've heard anybody else have a problem with while using SoundFlow.
Have you by any chance copied the Hue commands out of the package and are trying to run them from another package than the original? The error you're seeing indicates that the script is not being run as intended from its original package.

Hi Dana,
I just checked your account and I can see that you made an editable copy or manually copied the OBS: Scene: Set Current template into your Default Package.
Normally this would work, but the OBS package is a bit special in that the scripts in it rely on some hidden scripts containing some advanced functionality. The fix is to delete your copied script in the default package and instead create presets in the My Presets folder inside the OBS package's template OBS: Scene: Set Current.

You can create your own preset in the "My Presets" folder by alt+dragging the "Scene" preset onto the My Presets folder.

Your presets should end up here under My Presets (again, in the original OBS package)

Got It! Thanks so much, Christian! Really appreciate your super-fast help (even tho I wasn't able to try your solution until now, a week later)!

This issue is now tracked internally by SoundFlow as SF-418
Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-12-19 22:17:11.741Z
The issue being tracked is that scripts in non-premium packages (such as the OBS one) can be copied out of the package even if that makes them useless.
