Hi @Michael_Bouska,
Can you provide more information regarding the issue you are seeing? The log report you have filed has no information other than what you wrote in "Other Notes"
If you could fill out the following three pieces of information, we'll be able to look into your issue further.

Sorry for the vague post! Its the glitch in pro tools where I cant click on the plugin menu and instantly start typing to search for a plugin. You have a whole workaround post about it, I was just curious if updating PT would fix it! Thanks!

Thanks for clarifying @Michael_Bouska,
We are aware of the popup menu issue. And it is a super high priority for us, unfortunately, right now I can't provide you with any more information regarding the issue other than what is explained in the workaround post below.
Please note that we are doing everything we can to get this resolved.

Yes, as Kitch mentioned we're doing everything we can – unfortunately, in this case, the only thing we can do is to remind Avid that this is something they need to fix, as the issue is entirely on their side. SF can't do anything on our own to fix this issue, unfortunately.
There's a better & longer explanation of why this is the case in the article Kitch linked to, so I'd encourage you to check it out.- Rrich aitken @rich_aitken
Hi, Can i just add something here. If you trash prefs then the search works for a while - a goo 20 or so searches... THEN it fails. that strikes me as something being written to prefs by SF.
cheers

Hi Rich,
It's not got anything to do with preferences, for a full explanation of why this happens, please check the article we linked to above. This happens because PT switches to a legacy menu mode the first time it's controlled by SoundFlow or any other scripting system. So yes, it would show normal menus until the first time a script is run.

right. Gotcha. Its that first runnign that pushes PT over. Annoying as hell!!!

I totally agree. We're doing everything we can to get this fixed.
