Invalid SMPTE Timecode
Everytime I try to load an EDL, it says its an invalid timecode.
Do we need ot clean the EDLs up first also like I would for EdiMarker?
I tried doing so and still get an invlaid SMPTE TC error.

Hi Ben,
Yea the SoundFlow Sync package is very strict about timecodes needing to be valid for it to be able to read it. This involves all TC needing to be valid in the framerate you specify when you launch it. It also means for drop frame timecode the frame needs to be separated with a semicolon as per the standard, for example.

Can you share an example of a (short) EDL that has this problem and the TC Framerate you're loading it with?

Hi Christian!
Im so sorry for the slow repsonse here, I ended up going with EdiMarker int he end, but I would love to see a working SF solution.
I'll try it with a few more EDL's and then potentially can share part of one of them. For the largest majority of my workflows, I'm in 25fps and what I'm trying to do is take the timeline timecodes of the offline edit, and use that. So I shouldnt be seeing any drop frame rates or anything, as its simply references from and offline sequence.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the update.
I think stuff like that may happen if source material is not in 25 FPS for example, but not sure. EDL is such a loose "format" unfortunately so there's a lot of reasons why something could be invalid.
But yea it wouldn't be too hard to add EDL-"healing" capacity to SF.
