  2. How to

WIndow Configuration

So... Windows Configuration using multiple monitors has never worked properly and its a known PT issue, at least with OSX.
    I'm hoping there's a SF workaround.

Basically what happens is regardless of how I store the Windows Configs (lets say, Edit window on left screen, mix window on right screen) whenever I recall the config, both windows end up back on the same screen.

Has anyone built a script for this yet (I searched forum and store) and if not, could someone advise this noob where to start to build one? Not even sure what commands would be involved. Thanks!

I’d write more but I’m on my phone :) it’s totally possible,

Here’s some info that might help:

        1. Hey thanks Dustin! I'm reading through this thread now. Might be a little above my pay grade so will probably be dropping some questions in there soon! :-)

Hey again Dustin! Just thought I'd pass this along as you might find it handy.
I found a $3 solution called BetterSnapTools. It's a mac app that lets you save customized window layouts with easy recall. So basically it's like PT Window Configurations BUT it actually behaves correctly across multiple screens! Super cool and worth look.

            1. Better Snap Tool is a must-have. I use it constantly

              1. I'm glad to have discovered it!

hey @Chris_Shaw . Circling back about this since you mentioned you use Better Snap Tool.
Are you using multiple monitors? And if so, have you found a way to make PT built in Window Configuration play nicely with them?
I'm using Better Snap Tool for most configs, but I wanted to try to set some Window Configs via PT, but each time it would reset everything back to 1 monitor. Just curious if you've made it all works somehow.
