System Requirements SoundFlow 5
Hi There!
It is exciting to see SoundFlow5 released!
I'm on Mac OS 10.13.6 (yikes!) and I see in the SoundFlow system requierments section that High Sierra 10.13 is no longer supported but "may still work."
- is anyone runing SoundFlow 5 on Mac OS 10.13? Is it stable?
- To the SoundFlow folks....since SF v4.3.8 is running great on my computer at the moment....will it be an option to hang on to this old version for a little while if Sound Flow 5 doesn't play nice with mac OS 10.13?
I know I'm probably in the minority here....so no expectations for special suport of old old synstems! haha. Just hoping I can still eek out a few more months on this old computer until I upgrade later this year.

Hi @nick_krill ,
Thanks for asking for clarification on this.
Our beta testers have done some minimal testing on macOS 10.13 and it should work just fine there. I would recommend trying it out yourself to see – hopefully it should just work with no surprises.
We removed 10.13 from the supported section in part because our beta testers don't use 10.13, and in part because 10.13 is not supported by Apple, which means it doesn't receive security updates.
Usually all SF auto-updates to the newest version some time after its release, but we haven't yet decided how the update rollout of v5 will happen - as we're monitoring any potential bug reports from users on older systems.
So the best thing you can do is to try it out and report to us if anything is acting weird :)- Nnick krill @nick_krill
Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a whirl!

Hi @chrscheuer,
Wanted to check back in with a little update and mention that SoundFlow 5 is running well on the old Mac OS 10.13.6!
The only odd behavior I've noticed is that some of my old scripts trigger the default "all the decks" list on the iPad I am using for my SoundFlow deck. So that is a little funny, but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Interestingly...it seems like only old custom scripts make this happen....old custom macros don't seem to trigger the same iPad decks list. Maybe it is just something about how I scripted things, or maybe it is more to do with the iPad app than SoundFlow5.
Other than that SoundFlow 5 is running great!

Hi Nick,
Thank you so much for reporting back on this. We've been able to see on our stats that a lot of users are running SF on 10.12 and 10.13 and we've yet to see any OS-specific bug reports. So yea - good news all around on the OS support front :)
What you're seeing there sounds like a potential bug, but one that wouldn't have anything to do with the OS. If you want us to take a look, be sure to send a Help/Issue report or use the red "Need help" button.
