Help me to create a foley efficient macro
Hi, I'm newbie on soundflow and would like to create a macro to save time for foley stage.
I do all the foley process by myself, whish is operation, making sounds and editing.
I want to make a macro for saving my time.
my process is usually;
hit the rec("3" on ten-key)
do foley
hit the spaebar to stop the rec
drag the recorded region down to an empty track.
and my idea for the macro is to shorten this process.
drag a region down to an empty track is troublesome.
does anyone give me a tip for this?

Hello Yukio,
This should get you started,
Move clip to specified track - if partial or full overwrite move to next track #post-2- OOwen Granich-Young @Owen_Granich_Young
I’ve built a template of the script Samuel linked in the store search my name or AAF Organizer - Copy/Cut to Target Track.
Also if you want to get fancy I THINK you might be able to trigger your macro on stop record? Move recorded clip to Take tracks on stop. I've not tested this myself but it seems REALLLLY cool for what you need, one less button right?
Bests,

I copy and paste the script you shared, but I still don't know how it works. what should trigger be?
in my session, I've prepared a rec track and some tracks named "take1", "take2" and so on,
and changed the cursol to grabber object mode.I pressed rec and hit the space. the recorded region stays on the rec track.

I have not experimented with it myself, just linked it. But it looks like a run in the backgroudn script? Not going to pretend I know what's going on there. I can maybe mess around next week and report back.
In the mean time did the Package help you?
