Copy deck / command icons?

Hi - wondering if there's a way to copy deck and/or command icons? For example, I'm switching the "Colors" palettes in the main Pro Tools deck supplied by SF to the 8x4 decks which don't have icons - it would be so nice if I could just copy the deck icon for the 5x3 Track Colors deck to the 8x4 deck but I don't see a way to do that? Likewise it'd be nice to copy some of the command icons (like the back arrow icon for previous deck) into my own commands so that my customized deck (which includes a bunch of premade SF buttons) doesn't look a total mess, but again...don't see a way.

    What am I missing?

I’d also like to know this… but I think it might be a feature request.

The deck icons you can copy/paste.
Make an editable copy of the deck, and then you'll have the option to copy/paste the icons to your custom deck.

Sorry - this doesn't seem to work here - I've made a deck that has an icon into an editable copy, but still don't seem to be able to copy its icon.

                    This button doesn't work?

                    --

Then use the paste button on the destination deck.

Nope - after hitting that button, trying to paste to a deck (or command) icon gives me "clipboard doesn't contain an image".

I select a button, and then click on paste

Yeah, doesn't work here - result is as described above - thanks for the suggestion though.

Hey Rich, I don't think it can be done. Definitely something that needs to be added. You're not missing anything.

Was this resolved? I am getting the same "clipboard doesn't contain an image" message.
Would love this to work too! :-)

                                        Thanks!

I'm bumping this old feature request to see if there's been any update. I use the Avid S6 soft keys for Soundflow commands via Eucon. To use the Soundflow command icons on the S6 (and have them look good), I would need to make a copy, resize and save before transferring to the S6 via thumb drive. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to copy the original command icon and the S6 doesn't pull the command icon when setting up the soft key.

                                            1. Thanks Bill. I wasn't aware S6's could display icons on the soft keys. Do you happen to know the resolution they support?

Yes, I've resized some icons for EdiPrompt, etc... In pixels, 228w x 102h. It's a bit of a pain, as you need to copy the icons to the S6's internal drive and then select it from the center section. If you want examples, check my Soundflow package for EdiPrompt. For the last update I included a set of icons for the S6.

is there still no way to copy icons between buttons?
