      Hi @Dave_Hodge,

      I'm sorry you are seeing this issue. I just responded to your question over the chat, but in-case you missed it;

This 99% of the time is an issue with power delivery. See this article for more details:

      https://help.soundflow.org/en/articles/5761177-troubleshooting-stream-deck-freezing-connectivity-issues

Please note, that even when connecting directly to your computer, the internal USB bus can run out of power as well.

If you're still seeing issues, I'd recommend troubleshooting it by moving the Stream Deck to another computer, and/or removing all other USB connections. You can also try with a different physical Stream Deck if there's a chance the issue lies with the device itself or the cable.

      :-)

      1. Just chiming in to say that this is indeed the steps in case the Stream Deck device shows up blank. Dave, if what you meant is that the SoundFlow app itself becomes blank, would you be able to send us a screenshot and perhaps even better a screen recording of that happening?

This is how the app screen looks when I click 'SET UP STREAMDECK'. No further action is possible. Soundflow is not seeing my streamdeck at all, while the streamdeck software is.

            1. Auch yea that doesn't look good. I've never seen that error before. Would you be able to send a screen recording so we can see exactly what happens before?

              1. When was the last time you experienced the blank screen before filing the issue report? I'm asking so that we could match when you saw this with the right timestamp in the log file to see if it shows anything out of the ordinary.

I can see that the app settings show that you've selected SoundFlow's direct integration.

                1. FWIW your log files show both that SoundFlow sees the device (internally, even if you get that blank screen), and also that you at times connect successfully to the device through the Stream Deck app.

What happens before, is I click on this page, 'set up Stream Deck'. Then it just opens that blank page.

I am currently uninstalling soundflow, and will try a reinstall

Hm yea that's odd. I can see though that you followed the Quick Start guide to set it up inside the SoundFlow editor app where it appeared to successfully set it up so that the Stream Deck app doesn't run. If you've run the Stream Deck app after setting that up originally (which your log indicates) it's quite possible the configuration has been put in a bad state somehow.

                          I would recommend:

                          • uninstalling the Stream Deck app manually
                          • fully restarting the computer
                          • possibly reinstall SoundFlow
                          • trying again

If it occurs again, please report a new bug right after seeing the blank screen so we can hold it up against the log file. In that case, don't start the Stream Deck app again or switch configurations as that will only make it harder for us to troubleshoot it.

                            A re-install fixed the issue.

                            1. Awesome! Thanks for the update :)
