Is there a simple way to have a macro work when the window isn't in focus?

I know this is a simple question, but I'm using the UAD console macros and they won't work when I'm in Pro Tools or any other app. I know these macros are based on keyclick so that's probably what's going on. Is there a simple workaround to make a macro trigger a keyclick in the background, or no?

I would post this question in the forum area for this package:
SoundFlow Forum (Clicking this will take you there, the title is misleading)

I don't have the Console app so I can't write the script for you but essentially you'd need to detect the focused application, switch to Console, perform the desired action, then switch back to the original focused application.

          Hi @Bobby_Knepper,

As Chris mentioned, it looks like you are asking about a script that is from a user package in the SoundFlow store. The best way to get help with a package created by a SoundFlow user is to ask in the "Packages" section of the forum.

To learn how to do this please watch our video on "How to get help in SoundFlow" specifically the section from 4:18 “Getting Package Help”.

          Rock on!
