Is there a simple way for UAD console macros to work when Console isn't in focus?
I know this is a simple question, but I'm using the UAD console macros and they won't work when I'm in Pro Tools or any other app. I know these macros are based on keyclick so that's probably what's going on. Is there a simple workaround to make a macro trigger a keyclick in the background, or no? Someone suggested adding in a script to tab to console, click the monitor button, then tab back to pro tools.

Hi Bobby,
You could add an Activate App's Main Window action to your macro to focus UAD first, then focus Pro Tools again afterwards.

I’ve come up with a great solution.
There is a 3rd party app called UA midi control, and I’ve successfully used that as a bridge between SoundFlow(with my stream deck) and UA console. I’m able to control everything via the SoundFlow virtual midi controlling the UA midi control app.
So now I don’t have to have console open to control volume, talkback or anything else.
Hope that helps!
