Protools - Cubase import function - A1 A2 Fix

Sorry me again... Trying to avoid posting more than once a day and making sure todo a good search before hand.

I get sent alot of stuff from people in Cubase with the old A1 A2 problem.

Ive seen a couple of macros for doing 1 track from Duel Mono to Stereo. Ide like todo more but in a really specific way to make it what i think is possible.

Assuming I have an empty session (or maybe just have all my template stuff hidden would be nicer?) Ill import all the audio. Then Ill press my macro key. then what Im hoping Soundflow can do is...

Count all the visible mono audio tracks
Create X/2 Stereo tracks where X=Number of visible Monotracks
Move all audio from the monotracks to the stereo "Temp" tracks
    Delete every other mono track
Change the track width of remaining mono tracks to stereo
Move Audio from temp stereo tracks to original tracks.
    Delete Temp tracks
    Batch rename Removing .A1

Im not sure if this is possible? Ive tried to lay out each step I want it to take? Equally if there is a better idea or something I have missed that does the same thing?

Thanks again, Im sure I'll be back tomorrow with my next "idea" that I cant figure out! Soundflow is slowly but surely changing my life.

        Hello!

It may be unrelated to soundflow, but you can use an app called "tag stripper" to make it easier.
