      Hi @david_caporale,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue,

So I can look into the issue further, can you provide me with the name of one of the Macros you created, and the name of the Deck you attempted to add the 10 macros to.

      Thanks in advance. :-)

        Hi David,

Might you have been working with multiple open windows of the Editor app?

I don't believe I had multiple windows open, at least not knowingly.

I do notice something funny when I try to open "edit macros & shortcuts" in the macos app bar near the clock. It opens Soundflow but doesn't open the window. I have to manually click 'new window' in the 'window" menu and then select "edit macros & shortcuts" again. Maybe the issue is related, maybe not. Maybe something went wrong with my install.

            1. Hi David,

This sounds like the reason for the issue. The log file indicates that you end up with multiple open windows.

I think what's happening is that your monitor layout has changed at some point and SoundFLow remembers the old position of the window and so opens it off screen. That's why when you then click New Window you end up with multiple windows, even though you may only see one of them.

Having multiple open windows can in some cases lead to the kind of issue you're seeing

Please quit SoundFlow entirely (click SF icon, then Quit), then go to ~/Library/Application Support/SoundFlow/v2 and delete the "sfgui" folder.

Then launch it again from Applications. Now the cached information about where the window was last opened should be deleted so that you don't have to use "New Window" any longer.

That's correct. My monitor layout did change in the past couple days due to switching to one monitor while working remotely, when I normally use two.

Deleting sfgui folder has fixed the "new window" issue. It also sounds like the disappearing macros won't be a problem any longer.

                  Thanks for your help, Christian!

                Hi Gentlemen

I re-created the Macros and haven't had a problem since. Works wonderfully.

One of the macros was called Scroll to FX A and it was placed in a Deck Folder called CAP in the Default Package "My Pro Tools Deck"
