Hello everybody. I have a problem with "Video Converter for Protools". I have a Mac Studio with Monterey 12.4.
when I select the video file to convert I get this message: "unable to open "ffmpeg" because the developer cannot be verified"

Hi Davide,
Try to manually double click the ffmpeg file first, or right click and choose Open.
The issue here comes from the fact that the ffmpeg binary isn't code signed. SoundFlow is not legally allowed to redistribute ffmpeg due to its license, so we can't sign it.
If you followed the instructions, then the file is located in:
~/Library/Application Support/SoundFlow/v2/vendor/ffmpeg - In reply toD_av_3⬆:Jason King @Jason_King
Hey @chrscheuer I have a similar issue "/bin/bash: line 5: /Users/homestudio/Library/Application Support/SoundFlow/v2/vendor/ffmpeg/ffmpeg: cannot execute binary file"
I've tried selecting the file first but get the same error.

Hi Jason,
What happens when you right click and open the file?

Hi Christian, could you explain what you mean?

Navigate to this folder in Finder:
~/Library/Application Support/SoundFlow/v2/vendor/ffmpeg
Locate the ffmpeg file, right click it and choose Open. Click OK to the Gatekeeper warning.
This should now allow SF to run the file.

Hey @chrscheuer same issue but I can't find any SoundFlow folder on my Application Support. Why?
Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2024-12-19 11:54:05.411Z
Hi Sample Milano,
It sounds like you might be looking in the system-wide Application Support folder, not the one for the macOS user where you're running SoundFlow.
You can navigate to the folder by pressing Cmd+Shift+G in Finder, and pasting this:
~/Library/Application Support
Note, the "~" character is important, as it is your "home" folder for the current macOS user.
