SoundFlow in Pro Tools on M1 (Ultra) with Monterey
I recently switched to a M1 (Ultra) machine running on Monterey. I noticed that the SoundFlow shortcuts are much less responsive. It looks like it's only within the Pro Tools app. Jumping to markers and anything that works with track functions (open pan or inserts). These are just examples where I noticed it.
Are there any known issues on this? Or is it the Rosetta conversion that Pro Tools need to run?
Danny @Danny_van_SpreuwelAlso noticed this. F14 and F15 are not recognized as keys. I used to have macros on those.
Facts:
- The macro does work when changing the trigger key.
- The two F keys are recognized in Keyboard maestro.
- The two F keys are not recognized in the 2022.5 Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts function.
- Quiting Keyboard maestro has no effect.
Danny @Danny_van_SpreuwelThe F14 and F15 comment becomes off topic here. However I found the solution for this. In accessibility there is a function to turn on all control. Somehow it disables these two keys for SoundFlow. Go to system preferences. Then accessibility. In the keyboard section turn off the all control checkbox.
