Plug-ins Load Slowly using script

It seems like after setting up the plugin loader that the plugins load very slowly (around 5-10 seconds). Is there a way to speed up the process of the script loading the plugins?

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'Teezio's Plugin Loader' package.
This package is made by @Kitch. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you.

Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store is to select the script you installed, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this workflow, the developer of the package will get access to more information so they'll be able to help you quicker.

          Hi @Mixed_By_D_LLC,

          Thanks for reaching out.

As I mentioned in the following post, Plugins Loading Slow #post-3. It would be great if you could log a report via the "Script Help" workflow, detailed in the following link bit.ly/sfscripthelp.

          Thanks in advance.

@Kitch I did that when I select Need Help there is no options to get help with this specific Script or Macro like the video says so I am sent back to the general forum this how I got here.

Ahh ok, thanks for letting me know @Mixed_By_D_LLC

Do you by chance have a large number of plugins in your insert menu? If so this can cause there to be a delay when loading plugins, because the inserts menu needs to be read every time a plugin is instantiated.

The process of optimizing this is rather complex, I do have some ideas on how to tackle it, by possibly using a cache for the menu items.

I have a lot on my plate, but l'll take a look at doing so in a future update.

I'm sorry for the late response. I do have a large number of plugins I thought using the script frequently the plugins would begin to cache and load quicker and it just seems to load a bit too slow.

@Kitch also wondering if there is a way to speed up this script at all... I've been using some plugin loading scripts in Logic with a tool called "PlugSearch" recently, and they are so much faster in general. Perhaps there is a better way to achieve this... I can generally load a plugin much faster by using the Search menu item. Thanks for any feedback.

                      Hi @Judson_Crane,

Your request has been noted :-)

I've had a handful of users who have a lot of plugins on their system report this. I'm aware of this issue and will endeavor to improve the speed in a future release.

Hi! What's the status on this today? I can't use the script at all since it's slower than me just manually clicking on the insert. 🤓
