Is there an "offline" mode
Hello,
Is there a way to use my iphone or ipad as a surface when not connected to internet?
I'm asking for situations like public internet or airplanes where you can't connect both your laptop and mobile device to the same network.
Thanks

My phones and tablets have sometimes had "hotspot" capability.
If your phone could connect to the network, maybe it could send out a hotspot signal that your laptop could connect to. Since you won't need to send very much information all together, the network might just let you use the SF license.
As for an "offline mode," the SoundFlow site says that enterprise customers may have offline options, but that in general, SF needs online access. This is said in the licensing and documentation information, on the pricing page, etc.
While offline use would be nice-to-have, I actually think I prefer SF to connect and back up my triggers and scripts automatically. I've seen on the forum that SF Team has sometimes been able to get lost data back for users who were having trouble by using backups from the past. In general, I am hard-wired to my network, and I am always online anyway. I have to send and receive emails and chats with colleagues and clients nearly constantly. In 8 months, I have turned off my internet on purpose perhaps once, but I don't even remember. So, for me and, I believe, for the majority of people, staying online is acceptable.
Your situation makes sense, though, so try the hotspot going one way from a network-connected device. As mentioned it shouldn't require a lot of data transmission.
