Emulate The Quick Punch Record Mode in Pro Tools

    Hi Everyone !
I use pro tools and i would create a macro that let me perfect emulate the same behavior of the “3” Button on the numeric keypad (RECORD BUTTON) but in Quick Punch Recording Mode.
I use and aux input track as my microphone input, that’s to be free to “fader riding” for instruments, voices or whatever level i want for that particular situation, in an independent way.
This aux track is routed via bus to a recording track.

The recording track is routed to my studio monitor so, i can hear everything.

BUT In this way i listen the sum of the same signals twice (PRO TOOLS SESSION CAN’T BE MODIFIED/untouchable).

The only way to avoid the sum of the two signals is to MUTE the recording track (not the aux input i use as microphone) when i Quick Punch in a specific point of a track or when i record (Quick Punching) several pickups or when i begin to record a track from scatch. A very distractingand frustrating job.

I would need to have advices to build/develop one or maybe two macros.
The first macro that records and auto mutes the recording track at once when i begin recording and then that release, (on the same track), the auto mute when i press stop or when i hit again Quick Punch to stop recording.
The second macro to develop is to let me record only within a track selection or quick punching in a specific point without necessarily make a selection.
The idea is: 1) highlight or make a selection on a recording track, press the macro button trigger that will do the action of : (PLEASE NOTE that the recording track has not to be in mute or auto-mute that's to listen the previous recorded material using pre roll, the macro has to do the job only in the highlighted track portion/selection) quick punch record and mute the track at once only in the highlighted selection and of course, when the selection has passed / is finished, the macro command will auto unmutes the recording track and also release the recording all at once.
    2) In the second case A macro that when i hit quick punching button in a specific point of the track with a pre roll (also here to listen to the previous audio level recorded material), simultaneously auto mute the track in that specific point (point where the track is going to be recorded/overdubbed), continue recording till the desired length, re-hit the quick punching button and free simultaneously the track auto mute and the recording.
I Hope all is clear and understandable on what is the target to reach.
Could you please please help ???
    Thank you !
