    1. Hi Andreas,

You can get past that step by manually quitting your Stream Deck app and uninstalling it (drag it to Trash).

But what if I want to use the streamdeck separate from soundflow? Do I re-install the streamdeck app after I connected it with soundflow order do I have to permanently delete it?

          1. It's not possible to use both apps together if you want to get the best out of SoundFlow's direct integration.

If you want to use them together, you'd have to use SoundFlow's Stream Deck plugin - but due to a number of limitations and bugs in the Stream Deck app, that will be a much more difficult setup.

            See a bit more here:

Using the Quick Start guide will also set this up for you.

If you insist on using the apps together (which again, we really don't recommend), you can follow the old guide here (scroll down to the 3.6 version):
How to set up SoundFlow + Stream Deck

ok. I'll try it with soundflow only and feel out the workflow.
                Thank you

                1. Cool

It sounds like you may have an existing SF account, but just in case you want a more "from the start" set of tutorials, I'd recommend the two videos here:

                  https://soundflow.org/docs/getting-started/install-soundflow

You clicked to use SoundFlow's direct integration in the wizard - that direct integration will only work if the Stream Deck app is permanently deleted, yes. The two apps both take full control of all Stream Decks.

You'll get the best SF experience by using SF's direct integration and move any commands you had on Stream Deck to SoundFlow.
