    StreamDeck not working

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Tried reinstalling, uninstalling the program, Pro Tools Package won't install it says it already exists. No soundflow icon showing up on stream deck. tried plugging straight in rather than through a USB Hub

    Expected Result

    1. Hi Ethan,

      It looks like something went wrong somewhere or that your Quick Start guide didn't complete originally, or that you originally set up SoundFlow on a different computer.

      You can make sure SoundFlow uses its direct integration with Stream Deck in a different way - click the SF icon up by the clock, then choose Set up Stream Deck, and then choose Use SoundFlow's direct integration.
      This should get you going again.

          1. Ah, thank you for the video. The Stream Deck is indeed configured correctly in this screenshot (which it wasn't when you sent the original report).

            The next issue you're encountering here appears to be installing the official Pro Tools package. When I look in your account now, the package appears to be installed and everything correctly set up. Note that this package is usually installed by the Quick Start guide.

            If you're still seeing issues, I think a reset of your account so you can follow our normal onboarding process is probably the best way forward.

                  I've just reset your account.

                  To continue with next steps, I'd recommend starting by running this in Terminal. This will close/quit SoundFlow and remove its settings:

                  pkill -9 SoundFlow
                  rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/SoundFlow/v2
                  

                  After having done that, I'd recommend running the most recent installer (5.3.0) and then follow this video's instructions:

                  If anything doesn't work as expected, please let us know where you get stuck.

                                From the video I see that SoundFlow is struggling to restart. Are you by chance using a VPN or are behind a Firewall?

                                If not could you try reinstalling the latest stable version of SoundFlow from my.SoundFlow.org/install, and then see if it works.

                                If it does not, let's set up a Zoom call to see if we can work out what's causing the issue.

                                      My apologies, I just reviewed your videos again and noticed that you are on the "SoundFlow Cloud Avid" edition, which does not include Hardware integration with Stream Deck, iOS, and Android devices.

                                      The Avid Edition is a feature-reduced version of SoundFlow, that SoundFlow is giving away for free to certain users of Pro Tools as a way to get new users excited about the platform. It's not a replacement for SoundFlow Cloud Pro.

                                      As the version is feature reduced and designed for new users, we don't expect it to be very interesting to existing users of SoundFlow Cloud Pro. For example, you can't use your own macros, scripts, or content from the Store - and as you've seen, it doesn't integrate with Stream Decks or iPads.

                                            Hi Kitch, I have upgraded to Soundflow Pro but still that hasn't solved the issue. Keep in mind not even the 'finder deck' shows up on Strea, Deck Device.

                                            Please can we schedule that Zoom Call to get this sorted ASAP
