Is Bounce Factory crashing ProTools?
Hi @Andrew_Scheps, 'tis me again.
I have been screen-capturing a few Bounces with QT due to our previous conversation, hoping to catch any weirdness. I have videos of two different session Bounces where PT crashes just as it completes the bounce. Bounced file was successfully written to disk.
Is this something you've seen before? Any ideas on what might be causing this?

You're having all the fun lately!
Pro Tools crashing is unfortunately outside of the scope of what BF does or doesn't do. At the heart of it, while bouncing, BF does what you would do if you were stuck in front of the computer bouncing the mixes manually. It just (usually) does it faster and unattended. That said it could just be the fact that a screen recording was in progress which would take up a chunk of system resources.
One thing that I'm going to mention just as info, not necessarily as a recommendation since it's not my place, is that I'm running the same version of Pro Tools and Ventura (Mac OS 13.1) has been much more stable and responsive than any build of Monterey.
Thanks,

I'm a bit nervous about the plethora of plugin manufacturers that don't support Ventura, but will test on another drive.
Thanks again for your help.
Andrew Scheps @Andrew_SchepsFair enough. FWIW I haven't seen any issues with plugins in Ventura compared to Monterey but I completely understand!
