Basically the title. I would like to execute a script after I successfully open a Pro Tools session file. I'm not sure how feasible this is as I do not know how/if Pro Tools reports back to macOS after it successfully opens a session file and I would prefer not to run an infinite loop always checking to see if there is a session file open.
    Is this even possible?

      Hi @Hollywood_Scoring,

Running an infinite loop would be a way you could achieve this, but with that said, it's not the best practice to use SoundFlow in this way.

You could, however, create a script that launches the selected Pro Tools session in the Finder, wait for Pro Tools to be ready, and then have it run the command you want. But due to the nature of how Pro Tools reports its status to the operating system when Pro Tools is starting up, and the different popup windows you have to account for during the process, a script like this can get complex and time-consuming to test. The following thread, however, may help get you most of the way there.
