RS_Create New Track with Track Preset PROBLEM!
I just updated to the latest version of Pro Tools and now "RS_Create New Track with Track Preset" is failing. I get a "could not click menu popup item" error. It seems like something in the Pro Tools update disrupted the usual action flow that worked before. Anyone know what the problem is? Or how to fix it? I suddenly have a ton of track presets that don't work!

Hey @Matthew_Bronleewe, are you in Sonoma?
I just updated the package yesterday to address a new issue with this command in PT 2024.3 and Sonoma.
Please go to the store and update the package to v1.4.1. Hopefully that takes care of the issue you’re experiencing.

Ok great, thanks for the info! I'll update and check it out!

I'm in Ventura... I wasn't sure if it was safe to update to Sonoma or not!

Hmmm. Still having problems. "line 60" seems to be the issue. I think I'm updated to the latest version of your SoundFlow macros but the "update" button is greyed out (so I'm just assuming that's because it's already updated?)

@Matthew_Bronleewe ah, I think I know what is going on. You’re not seeing the update because you need SoundFlow 5.7 to install it. And actually, SoundFlow 5.7 is an important update to have to get things working generally on PT 2024.3. So let’s first make sure you have that by downloading it from here: https://my.soundflow.org/install

Ok, I've downloaded and installed the newest SoundFlow, and I'm using the latest version of the RS macros, but I'm still getting a line 60 error? This could easily be user error haha... Right now I've got my presets in a folder called "Instruments", and it used to work before, but I've noted how it works slightly differently when I try to get to those presets manually. Do I need to have my presets in a different folder?

Hey, I finally got it working, but I needed to update to Sonoma 14.3.1 to get things going. Plus, I'm finding that the old location I had my presets is no longer working, so I'm needing to migrate things over to the Avid folder (in presets) to make things run happily. I think I'm good to go now! Thanks for your help! These updates can sometimes become major headaches haha

@Matthew_Bronleewe, bold move! I'm glad you got things working but sorry that it took such a drastic change to get it going.
I wish we could've figured out what was going on since I'm still in Ventura and haven't seen any bugs with this command other than the occasional Melodyne one, which was going to be my next suggestion.
Interesting to hear your comment about not being able to recall presets from another folder other than the Avid one. I wonder if it's a PT bug. Will keep an eye out for that one.
