    Drop down menus are no longer openable in pro tools when sound flow is on.

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Open Sound Flow
    2. Open Pro Tools
    3. Drop Down Menus Do Not Open

    Expected Result

    For the menus to open

    Actual Result

    Menus do not open

    Workaround

    Turn off sound flow

      I'm sorry you're experiencing an issue opening menus in Pro Tools. Unfortunately, however, the information you've provided is not enough for us to investigate the issue without making assumptions.

      Can you provide more information on what menu(s) won't open? And how are you trying to open the menu? For example, with a script or macro being triggered from a Keyboard Shortcut, or by some other means. And is there an any error message you receive?

      It may also be helpful if you could provide a screen recording of the issue so we can understand the issue better.

      Hopefully, with more information, we can investigate further. :-)

        It's very likely this is what's being tracked in SF-1189.

              Linked issue SF-1189 updated: The bug in which Pro Tools context/popup menus could disappear if a SoundFlow script (or any other software) would be sending a message to Pro Tools, has been fixed in Pro Tools 2024.10.
