Can't load Instrument Channel strip settings in Logic Pro
Hello there
I'm trying to load some of my several instruments channel strip settings to no avail
I already have watched the video of a similar issue back in 2022 Select Channel Strip in Logic Pro
but it is not working this is the message the program sends:

Hi @Joao_p_Mendonca,
I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue
The best way to get help with a command whether it is one of yours or from a package you've downloaded from the SoundFlow store is to use the command's red "Need Help" button.
To learn how to do this please see the video in the following link.
Hopefully, with more information, we can resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.

Looking at your screenshot, you might only need to remove the "Channel strip settings" part of the path in the ["Channel strip settings", "legacy","1 FM Synth"] path, to get it working.

It worked Great for LEGACY instruments, But did not work for all of my SAVED channel strip settings, which is my main way to load track settings, It is actually saved on another path [Main HD>Users>my user>music>Audio Music Apps>Channel strip Settings>Instrument> and the saved channel strip] But IT SHOWS at the same spot than legacy, do you still think I'm doing something wrong?

Hi @Joao_p_Mendonca,
Are you using the "Recall Track Preset" Command located in the "Track Functions" folder of the Logic Pro package?
Also, Can you take a screenshot of the settings menu path you are trying to load?
Thanks in advance.
- JJoao p Mendonca @Joao_p_Mendonca
Yes I am using Recall track preset.
I'm sending 6 pics 2 of where my channel strips are in logic, 1 path that works (legacy) and 3 that does not work.Kitch Membery @Kitch2024-11-12 19:05:05.151Z
Thanks for clarifying @Joao_p_Mendonca
Unfortunately, the "Recall Track Preset" Command presets only work for recalling presets from the "Settings" popup menu on Channel Strips (not for Library Presets)
I did however create a script for loading Library Presets here in the forum (See this thread) Logic Pro X - User Patch Loader? #post-7
Unfortunately, as the script for this requires some mouse simulation, so I have decided to keep it out of the Official package until I can find a way to make it more robust.

I see...the fact is that instead of opening a soft synth or sample player I made complete channel strips of the sounds I use the most... what about loading from the path it was stored? would this be too difficult?

Hi @Joao_p_Mendonca,
As I mentioned, the "Recall Track Preset" Command presets only work for recalling presets from the "Settings" popup menu. It will not work for the library. To load Presets from the Library, please see this post...
I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by "what about loading from the path it was stored?". In point form, can you provide me with the manual steps you'd take to achieve this workflow in Logic Pro?
Thanks in advance.

I mean the track presets appear in the same spot synths are, the instrument loader go to the same position... but it seems to be in a different place in the computer... but any way that's what I do In logic:
I open Library>there It is "User Channel strip Settings"> then I choose my track preset

I Tried the red button, the only option I had was looking in the forum, but my entry is the only one with the subject. it seems to me you guys left out the USER Track presets for this script, am I wrong?

I can see now there is no way of loading user channel strip setting from with sound flow in Logic Pro, maybe this is something you could consider implementing, for is so important for many composers, virtually any logic user I know save his favorite track setting in channel strips... It would be Wonderfull
Thanks
