                Hey @Dryw_Owens

Sorry mate, I hadn't seen this. and sorry this hasn't been working for you. But appreciate that you have been getting some great use out of it.

Now, it's working for me. Let's see if we can figure out why. What version of Xcode are you using? and what OS version are you running?

You may need to open Xcode and re give permissions, which all you need to do is open it and you will be prompted. As there was a recent update which may have been updated on your system, but you need to re authorise it when that happens.

I just updated and it's working fine. Let me know how you go.

Strange. It did stop working after the update. I've tried re-giving it all permissions I can think of. I'm using OSX 15.7.2 and Xcode 26.3

That makes sense, particularly as it was around the time it seems to have stopped working for you.

Have you launched Xcode? You will need to do that first and it will need to install an update after launching. Then it should work.

I did launch Xcode, but nothing installed. Is there a way to do a clean installation of Xcode?

Try uninstalling the Xcode app then redownload it from the App Store

I'm afraid this didn't work either. I'm noticing that the latest Xcode requires OS Tahoe. I'm not sure it's safe for me to upgrade though. I'm trying to get a previous version of Xcode in the mean time...

Agh that could be it. I’m on Tahoe so that’s why it’s working for me with that version. If you’re not wanting to go to Tahoe, I would do as you are and go for the version of Xcode that was working for you previously.

Hope you get it sorted mate. Stoked people are getting good use out of the app.

I’m on PTU 2025.6, so Tahoe will be a last resort. Unfortunately, rolling back to older versions of Xcode didn’t solve anything…

Sorry it didn’t work for you mate. If it helps, Tahoe is working perfectly fine for me.

do you have all inserts in view? it should do this for you but may be causing the issue which is an easy fix if the case.

                                                                                        1. DDryw Owens @Dryw_Owens

I have updated the script, so update at the tore to version 3.0.5 and hopefully that will do the trick for you.

Ahh I was hoping moving the focus screen would fix it.

I've change the code now so hopefully this is the fix for you. 3.0.7.

If it fails again, if you can do a screen capture of it failing, that might help me narrow it down. But fingers crossed, this is the solution for you.

It seemed like it was more of an issue with focusing pro tools. But I’m not 100% sure.

So that script was working for giving you the names?

However, the one I posted does. Also - if I drop the “.sfx” from what you posted, it will work.

That's where the issue seems to b coming from, as the entire script has the .sfx through it. I've run this across mutliple systems and it's working fine, so the only thing I can think of is that this is getting blocked some how.
