    Title

    MOMDeck not connecting to DADMan

    Content type

    package

    Content name

    Scheps MOMDeck

    Content package

    Version info

    OS: macOS 15.6.1
    SoundFlow: 6.2.4
    Pro Tools: null

What do you expect to happen when you use the package?

    System info:

    Mac: M1 MacBook Pro
    macOS: 15.6.1
SoundFlow: [insert current version — post-downgrade attempt]
    DADman: [insert version]
    MOMDeck: [insert version]
Setup: MOMDeck and DADman running on the same machine, Stream Deck +

    Issue:
MOMDeck fails to establish a working connection with DADman. Symptoms include:

    • Virtual MOM device intermittently absent from DADman's Device List entirely
    • At one point DADman appeared to briefly recognize the device (appeared in its "devices list"), but the connection never completed (MOMDeck shows "Loading...") and the device did not appear in the Device List afterward.

    Troubleshooting already attempted:

Confirmed MOM profile has 2+ layers active (Element Active) to rule out the single-layer connection bug
Verified/toggled Full Disk Access enabled for both SoundFlow and DADman
Verified/toggled Local Network permission (System Settings → Privacy & Security) off/on for both apps
Disabled firewall/VPN/network monitoring utilities during testing
Full quit + relaunch cycle (DADman first, Device List open, then SoundFlow/MOMDeck) — repeated multiple times
Tested on-screen MOMDeck display (not just physical Stream Deck) to isolate hardware vs. software connection
Downgraded SoundFlow to an earlier version (per a similar reported fix in the MOMDeck Sequoia Connection Issues thread) — did not resolve
Confirmed monitor profile is saved and MOM device correctly attached

Result: None of the above fully resolved the connection.

    Are you seeing an error?

    "Searching for DADMan"

What happens when you use the package?

How were you running this package?

I clicked the Run Script or Run Macro button in SoundFlow

How important is this issue to you?

      Hi, @Jesse_Herrera,

There is a good chance the connection issue you're experiencing here is covered in the following thread, which includes instructions for making the MOMDeck device appear on the Dadman device list page.
      MOMdeck Connection Issues [Sequoia] #post-47

According to some users, the most important step is:
      MOMDeck Sequoia Compatibility #post-5

      • Toggle SoundFlow off and on in System Settings > Privacy & Security > App Management.
      • When toggling off, you can click "Later" when prompted to "Quit & Restart".
      • When turning App Management back on, select "Quit & Restart".

Let me know if this helps get you up and running.
