Keyboard press: keep the key down (with stream deck)

I couldn't find anything on the forum: is it possible to keep a "key" down with SF? And activate that from a SD?

I would like to have the Pro Tools numpad shuttle controls on my stream deck.

Is there a better way to implement that? I can do that on my kensington trackball (with their app) but for ergonomic reasons I would love to control them with the SD.

    Thanks

    1. Hi Davide,

Unfortunately, this currently isn't possible to control from a Stream Deck that way. You can "fake it" by using touch sliders on a surface (on an iPad), but none of our buttons (Stream Decks or buttons on surfaces) support independent down/up events yet.

I'm working on something similar. Is there anyway to create an action or script where it holds one key down and then presses another key, before releasing the first key.

Essentially I'm trying to build this into a single action: Num 1 (dn), Up Arrow (dn/up), Num 1 (up)
