        Thanks for contacting SoundFlow support.

Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store or content that you've made yourself, is to select the script/macro, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this method, we will get access to more information and so should be able to help you quicker.
You can read more about how this works here: bit.ly/sfscripthelp

If you're seeing an error that isn't related to scripts or macros, and you think this is a bug in SoundFlow, please file a Help/Issue bug report.
You can see how to do this by going to bit.ly/sfhelpissue

What the hell answer is that?
I wrote that I can't log in, I can't access to SoundFlow! Is it clear?

            1. Hi Andrea,

The bot response is a standard response sent automatically - please ignore it in this case.

The most probable reason for the issue you're seeing is that the OS needs to update the certificate cache properly. Unfortunately, sometimes when updating the OS, macOS doesn't properly reset permissions, which causes code signature mismatches, which can cause it to think you haven't given permission, even if you have. This is a macOS bug.

Please follow the steps here - hopefully, this will resolve your issue:

                Hi,
could you send me please the download link of SF 5.1.0?
I'm looking for but I can't find it.
                Thanks

                1. Hi Andrea,

We don't provide download links for older versions of SoundFlow. Only the newest version is supported. You can see all current downloads here:

                  https://soundflow.org/account/downloads

                  1. To be clear - the instructions I shared, the idea was not to download 5.1.0 specifically, but just at that point to download the newest installer. I'm sorry if this was confusing (I was linking to an old post).

                    The issues is still here.
                    How can I solve it?

                    1. Hi Andrea,

Can you share the exact steps you followed?

                      1. @Chad would you be able to help troubleshoot with Andrea? The instructions to use tccutil to clear the permissions cache, uninstalling the app, restarting the computer etc. need to all be followed very specifically for the cache to be cleared properly.

                        1. Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2024-06-16 17:29:15.989Z

                          Sure, @chrscheuer!

@Andrea_Buttafuoco, I'd be happy to help you get this resolved.

To ensure we are on the same page, I will share a quick video of the steps outlined in the post that Christian linked to above. Could you walk through the steps outlined in this video and let me know if functionality is restored?

                          1. Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2024-06-16 17:31:27.094Z

Written out the steps are as follows:

                            • Quit SoundFlow entirely (SF icon by clock -> Quit).
                            • Open the Terminal Application.
                            • Run this command in Terminal: Type pkill -9 SoundFlow and press Enter.
                            • Delete SoundFlow from the Applications folder and Empty the Trash.
                            • Run this command in Terminal: Type tccutil reset All org.soundflow.sfsx and press Enter.
                            • Restart the computer.
                            • Install the latest version of SoundFlow from soundflow.org.
                            • You should be prompted to grant Accessibility permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Accessibility.
                            • Unlock the Security & Privacy settings by clicking the lock icon 🔒.
                            • Click the "Step #3" button in the SoundFlow startup window.
                            • Click "Open SoundFlow" in the top left of the SoundFlow Menubar app.
                            1. Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2024-06-16 17:33:20.868Z

If you follow all of these steps, please also verify that going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Accessibility manually shows the SoundFlow permissions checked like this:

                              1. Ok, it works! Thank you so much, Chad!

                                1. Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2024-06-17 19:40:17.359Z

That's great! Happy to help, @Andrea_Buttafuoco
